Apartment and house painting in Jerusalem

Walls and ceilings, one room or the whole home. How a paint job looks is decided before the first stroke of the roller: protection, wall preparation and two even coats.

A painter, seen from behind, rolling a ceiling with an extension pole in an empty living room with the floor fully covered.

What a paint job includes

  • Protection

Furniture, floors and frames covered before starting.

  • Preparation

Small cracks and holes filled, surfaces sanded where needed.

  • Two coats

For an even colour with no visible patches in the light.

  • Crisp lines

Clean wall-to-ceiling edges and neat door frames.

Why preparation matters more than paint

Fresh paint doesn't hide a damaged wall — it reveals it. A badly filled crack, a plug hole or an old damp mark shows up again the moment low light from a window crosses it.

So before painting, the walls are checked room by room. Small defects are dealt with along the way; if the walls need more — open cracks, hollow-sounding plaster, damp damage — that's plaster and repair work, priced separately in the quote so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Walls, ceilings, one room or the whole home

For a whole flat: walls and ceilings, room after room, ceilings first. A bedroom to refresh or a scuffed hallway gets the same preparation and the same finish.

For colours there are three cases: white throughout, one or more colours already chosen, or a choice to make together. Either way, the colour is settled before the job starts.

  • Ceilings: two coats, no roller marks.
  • Walls: a single colour or a feature wall.
  • Frames and skirting: clean edges.
Masking tape peeled off a freshly painted wall, leaving a perfectly clean line.

Living at home during the work

There's no need to empty the flat. Furniture is gathered in the middle of each room and covered, floors are protected, and the job moves room by room so you always keep somewhere to live.

If the flat is empty — before moving in or between tenants — the job goes faster. That's covered on the rental and move-in page.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to paint a flat?

A single room is usually a day's work, a whole flat a few days. The exact time depends on the state of the walls and is set in the quote, after the visit.

Do I buy the paint myself?

That's settled when quoting: mention it in the questionnaire or on the phone, and the quote will state what's supplied.

Can one wall be a different colour?

Yes. A feature wall is prepared and painted like the others, with clean edges at the corners and ceiling.

Are ceilings always included?

No, only if you ask. The questionnaire asks you: walls only, or walls and ceilings.
